Wedding Ceremonies will be conducted from Monday to Saturdays excluding public holidays and Sundays, between the hours of 10:00am-5:00pm. Ceremonies conducted are Civil by law only and conducted by a Marriage Officer.
There is no residency period to be married in Antigua, however we would need at least one working day after arrival to process documents.
The following Original Documentation will be required:
- Valid Passport as proof of citizenship
- Original divorce decree if you were previously married
- Original marriage and death certificate if you are a widow or widower
Other Requirements
Both parties must be over 15 years old and if below 18, written authorisation from your parents or guardians is required. Remember that all documents presented must be an original or certified original by the issuing departments or offices.
Ensure that all documents are in your legal name, and provide an affidavit in cases where you are known by another name. Your marriage must be solemnised or celebrated in the presence of two witnesses, apart from the Marriage Officer. (We can provide witnesses for you).
If documents are not in English, they must be translated and stamped by the Court. |
